Julie
Owner/Founder of HomeTurf
Hi Everyone! First of all I just want to say I am so glad you are here and THANK YOU for supporting me and my vision for HomeTurf. I am so excited for what’s to come for this team in Raleigh. I know I’m “newish” here so let me tell you a little about myself and how I got here…
Initially spending six years in the digital advertising space on the sales and creative side, I made a career shift in 2016 to be in fitness after I found SoulCycle, the premier cycling studio in the country, headquartered in NYC. I realized this modality and style brought together my two passions, performance and being an athlete that was part of a team. From there I spent almost six years instructing and I was able to take my passions from being a coach, mentor and talent developer to the next level on and off the bike.
Additionally, in the beginning of 2020, I created HomeTurf. I built this team in hopes to keep my community together when the world shut down. We did everything from strength/HIIT classes to virtual cycling classes all on Zoom multiple times a week. I never thought it was something I would keep doing once the world “opened back up” again, but here we are! Thanks to the people of HomeTurf and the incredible group it has cultivated, four years later we are still going strong and I am ecstatic to be bringing it to its new home in North Hills, Raleigh – NHID!
Outside of HT you will find me trying to keep up with all the things, but the #1’s on my list will always be my family. I am a mom of three kids, Molly, Brooks and Jack, the wife to my incredible teammate, Matt, and dog mama to my best 4-legged boy Milo; all of which you will probably see running around the studio at some point.
I can’t wait to create this team with you, Raleigh!
